Dukie came to rescue because of major health issues with his past family. He acts like a Dachshund but looks like a standard Dachshund with longer legs so we are guessing a mix. We did not get paperwork so no way to tell for sure. Maybe a terrier??? But he is mellow inside and rock and rolls with the pups outside to keep in shape.
This guy is housebroke and very easy. He has been a well loved family pet in his last home so no abuse issues.
We were told he was seven but acts much younger outside when telling off the cats. One would never know his age. He is that fun and happy. Only a few grey hairs.
I find him smart and very charming but we also like dogs with brains at this rescue.
